Compare flag and banner sizes
For these examples, measurements are height × width. Read your product's selected option to confirm its orientation.

Measure before you order
- Measure the clear height and width of your display area, including space for your stand or hanging hardware.
- Use a paper outline or tape measure to check the flag's full dimensions in that space.
- Step back to your usual viewing spot and check that the lettering and design will suit the display.
A 3 × 5 ft flag needs room for a display approximately 3 ft tall and 5 ft wide. A 4 × 8 ft banner needs approximately 4 ft of height and 8 ft of width.
Choose single-sided or double-sided printing
- Single-sided: the print can show through in reverse on the back. A useful option when the front is your main viewing side.
- Double-sided: three-layer construction; the design is readable from both sides. Check the printing options on your selected product.

Match the finishing to your display
Garden flags use a top pole sleeve with no grommets. Other flags and banners may offer grommets or different finishing choices. Select the finishing option available for your product, and check the listing for included hardware. Order a compatible stand or pole separately when the listing says flag only.
